After serving as a flight engineer on a Navy Air P2-V marine reconnaissance flight crew and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Economics from the University of Delaware, Neil began his business career as a Legal & Accounting vertical market sales representative with Xerox Corporation in Philadelphia where he subsequently was promoted to Xerox headquarters as a manufacturing vertical market specialist and again as a field sales manager in Boston, MA. Neil then transitioned his sales, marketing and negotiating expertise into commercial investment real estate brokerage with Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Vice President responsible for managing the Philadelphia branch's commercial investment real estate department while personally negotiating numerous institutional grade investment real estate transactions.
Propelled by a natural inclination toward entrepreneurial endeavors Neil formed a commercial real estate development Company, North Pointe Properties where he acquired land, financed, constructed, leased and managed a portfolio of suburban business campus commercial office buildings. While operating North Point, Neil researched unmet needs of smaller to intermediate enterprises employing between 300 and 3,000 associates, leading him to found, own, build and subsequently divest of a B2B employee benefit services company, Benefit Plan Partners, to a NASDQ acquirer.
Upon earning a master's degree from Villanova University, teaching as an adjunct in Villanova's undergraduate school of business, Neil fulfilled the AMAA requirements to become a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor and formed Middle Market Solutions LLC where he negotiated multiple Merger & Acquisition transactions. Today Neil sits on the board of AirBorn, a high reliability, international electronics manufacturing enterprise headquartered in Georgetown Texas for which he negotiated a transformative $25 million acquisition.
An active member of the Association of Merger & Acquisition Advisors in Chicago, Neil resides in Bonita Springs, Florida with his wife and has two adult children and four grandchildren. Neil is an avid golfer and member of Bonita Bay Country Club in Florida and Overbrook Golf Club in Villanova, PA. Neil is also a pickleball enthusiast and enjoys alpine skiing, traveling, reading and dramatic arts entertainment.
