The Owner's father acquired the business in 1973 and it has been in the family since that time. The business is a large, federally inspected meat packing plant that processes beef, pork, lamb, bison and elk. Domestic animals are brought in live and processed. Some beef is sent out in carcasses, but the majority is cut, packaged and froze. Meats are processed for local ranchers for their personal use. State agencies are customers by way of bidding procedures. Products are processed under the auspices of the business for other entities, but sold by those entities under their label.
