Biography:

Steve Dircks is a business broker in Northeast Iowa. As the former owner of a third-generation family business, he understands the joys of business ownership as well as the vast array of emotions when buying or selling a business. After negotiating the sale of his own business, he went on to be a Vice President for the buyer’s company, before moving on to become the Chief Operating Officer of a manufacturing business. Never having lost the owner’s work ethic, Steve rejoined the entrepreneurial world with Murphy Business.

Steve’s experience includes the energy, agriculture, HVAC, appliance and manufacturing industries. His experience in selling a business without professional assistance and then integrating his former company into the buyer’s, gives him a keen understanding of the opportunities and challenges both parties encounter.  With that knowledge he knows that he can help everyone who buys or sells a business as the experienced professional who guides them through the process.

Steve and his wife Lisa live in Hopkinton, Iowa. They are the proud parents of 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
