Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Murphy – Carolinas Team. Kevin has been in the hospitality business since 1989 working in all aspects of the industry. Working up to the position of sous chef at Wild Dunes in Charleston he then joined the Navy as a culinary specialist. After being discharged from the Navy, Kevin attended the University of South Carolina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality, Restaurant and Sports Management.
Upon graduation Kevin worked as a manager of Hooters of America where he specialized in increasing merchandise sales and was awarded manager of the quarter on several occasions. After leaving HOA he went to work as a marketing associate with Sysco Food Service for over five years. Kevin left Sysco in 2012 to open his own deli in Conway, SC.
Kevin now brings his extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry to Murphy assisting business owners in valuation and confidentially positioning and marketing their business for sale.
