Patrick has 25+ years of executive level experience in large corporations and in start-ups. Prior to becoming Owner and Regional Developer of Murphy Business of Minnesota, he was senior vice-president of, and managed the creation of, a new division for one of the largest privately-held accounts receivable management companies in the nation. Patrick oversaw every aspect of this high-growth business and its hundreds of employees. Patrick has also held management and executive positions with other accounts receivable companies and his first job out of college was with Fingerhut, one of the nation’s largest direct-marketing firms. These diverse work experiences established a broad base of business knowledge that Patrick utilizes when working for his clients as their business broker.

Patrick has the ability to take the complicated components of a business transaction and simplify them so his clients can understand them and make informed decisions. Patrick has experience closing deals where he has had to bridge the communication gap between high school educated business owners and a Private Equity group buyer made up Ivy League credentialed employees and owners. Patrick possess the knowledge to facilitate both small and multi-million dollar transactions, but just as important, he has the unique skill to manage those transactions with understanding, compassion, honesty, integrity.

Patrick has represented both sellers and buyers across many industries, with transactions ranging in size from $200,000 to $20 million. Patrick is a native of Minnesota and appreciates and understands the state’s business climate. He thoroughly enjoys working with, and educating, the many business sellers and buyers across the state that are in need of business transition advisory services. Successfully facilitating business transitions has become Patrick’s most fulfilling business passion to-date.

Patrick has BAs from the University of St. Thomas in Business Administration and Computer Science and an MBA in Strategic Management and Operations from The Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota).
