Karsen Moore Thornton is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) professional with experience in corporate Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Accounting and Finance. Throughout her corporate career, Karsen focused primarily in the Healthcare industry, performing financial statement audits for public hospital systems with a Big Four Accounting firm and then transitioning to financial forecasting and M&A roles at a Fortune 100 Healthcare company.
Karsen has been involved in both the buy-side and the sell-side of business transactions ranging from smaller, main street deals to large-scale, corporate M&A. She understands the importance of working with a trusted advisor and partner throughout the sale process, and strives to be that resource for her clients. She is dedicated to providing the best possible outcome, reaching her clients’ personal goals as efficiently as possible.
Karsen grew up in Louisville, KY and earned a B.S. in Accounting and Management, with a minor in Spanish from the University of Kentucky. While working in the Healthcare industry, Karsen earned her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She lives in Louisville with her husband, Clay, and their dogs, Moose and Birdie. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and patio dining at local Louisville restaurants.
