Completes Deal with Installed Business Products, Inc.

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Murphy Business & Financial Services LLC in Clearwater announced today that it has successfully advised Tampa-based Water-Tite Solution, Inc. through a strategic acquisition. Columbus, Ohio-based Installed Building Products, Inc. (IBP), an industry-leading provider of insulation and complementary building products, acquired the commercial and residential waterproofing business, adding to its diversified portfolio of businesses providing building materials and services. 

The mutually beneficial transaction positions newly formed Alpha Water-Tite Solution to grab a larger share of the growing waterproofing solutions sector (Alpha Insulation and Waterproofing is a subsidiary of Installed Building Products that was acquired nearly two years ago).

To ensure a fulfilling acquisition process, Water-Tite Solution engaged Murphy Business – Clearwater to advise in the negotiations. Shán O’Keeffe, Executive Vice President – Murphy Valuation Services LLC, and Carole Akers-Harrison, Senior Business Broker and Project Director closely counseled Water-Tite Solution from start to finish.
