A Broker Associate with Murphy Business of Sioux Falls, Mr. Gonzales is also the owner of Great Plains Business Appraisals. Through his organization, and his background with the South Dakota SBDC and as a Commercial Lender, Rey has assisted over 1500 entrepreneurs in the areas of start-up, growth, expansion, marketing, financial analysis, purchasing, financing, and exit opportunities. As part of his professional work over the last decade, Rey has assigned values and/or assisted in the transfer of over 250 businesses, and helped his clients acquire over $30 million in financing. In addition, Mr. Gonzales has worked extensively with for-profit and non-profit organizations and communities, facilitating strategic planning, setting goals and objectives, leadership development, and change management.
Rey received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from Mount Marty College. Mr. Gonzales also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. An Adjunct Professor teaching business & entrepreneurship at the University of Sioux Falls, Rey, his wife Jennifer, and their two sons reside in Brandon, SD.
