Prior to joining Murphy, Carlos spent roughly 25 years working in the financial services industry, including serving as a private client advisor at JP Morgan and as a research analyst and portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley. He has analyzed and invested in hundreds of businesses across a broad range of industries and geographies. In addition to his role at Murphy, Carlos is an adjunct professor in the finance department at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and serves as the Treasurer of the Saints John and Paul Foundation.
Carlos earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Stamford CFA society.
