I entered the possibility of selling my business with disquiet due to a previous, less than desirable, seller/broker interaction.  From the beginning, things were different with Ron. He did not pretend to know everything about my business; he invested the time, energy and resources to learn what I did, how I did it, and details about each type of service offered. Once meeting with potential buyers began, Ron was realistic in his expectations of potential buyers and explained that the first interested person may not always be the buyer or the best buyer.  Not really what I wanted to hear, but as time went on, I greatly appreciated Ron’s willingness to go the extra mile not just find a buyer, but find the right buyer/seller combination. Ron totally understands that selling a business can be a time of emotional ups and downs as one struggles to get beyond due diligence, etc. while running the business.

He always gave me realistic expectations, came through, just at the right time, with words of encouragement including periodic e-mails saying “We are almost there”.

While Ron was articulate and well-organized, his keen analytic prowess paired with enthusiasm, patience, and determination resulted in closing a difficult deal. Those words, “Congratulations, you’ve sold your business” were music to my ears!  To date, Ron’s support continues, with his willingness to answer belated questions and give reassurance.  For anyone desiring to sell a business, Ron Buck is my broker of choice.
