Job Summary:

Murphy Business is seeking motivated, business-minded professionals to become business broker/intermediaries, and M&A advisors — helping small business and lower-middle market owners achieve successful exit strategies and sell their companies.

 

We are looking for experienced professionals who are entrepreneurial, driven to own their own business, and possess a blend of financial acumen and sales skills.

 

As a Murphy Business broker, you will:

  • Participate in proactive marketing initiatives to convert prospects into clients
  • Consult with business owners to understand their goals and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Perform valuations on your client’s company
  • Develop financial and marketing materials to confidentially market the company for sale
  • Engage with buyers, private equity groups, bankers, accountants, and attorneys to successfully bring deals to closing
  • Advise clients on transaction structure, negotiation tactics, and market positioning
 

Broker experience is not required — we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

 

We seek candidates with business ownership experience, senior corporate leadership, or comparable professional backgrounds. Successful agents are self-starters who are detail-oriented, client-focused, financially savvy, and committed to building a pipeline. This is a 100% commission-based opportunity with unlimited earning potential. Candidates must have the financial resources to support themselves during the business development phase.
