Mark R. Sanborn is a Business Broker with Murphy Business & Financial Corporation, serving business owners throughout Northern Idaho. With more than 20 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and over 15 years as the owner of a boutique accounting and consulting firm, Mark brings deep financial insight and a strong understanding of owner-operated businesses to every transaction.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Mark began his professional journey by serving in the U.S. Air Force on active duty in Minot, North Dakota, and later in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as part of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. His military background instilled a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and attention to detail—qualities that continue to define his professional approach.

Throughout his career, Mark has worked closely with family-owned and partner-owned businesses, helping owners present accurate financial records, operate efficiently, and make informed decisions. His industry experience spans property management, staffing, millwork, professional services, pharmaceutical, EdTech, plastics manufacturing, and more.
