Biography:
Tom Foster brings over 20 years of consulting, business brokering and M&A activity to Murphy Business of Texas. He has a retail merchandising background with a focus on financial planning and analyzation. He began with Murphy as an agent and in 2022, became a regional partner for North Texas with Don Wendel. His main focus in his regional role is training and working with Murphy brokers on different aspects of their deals from valuations to marketing documents to closing deals. Tom performs over 20 valuations a year for the region, covering all types of businesses from asset heavy manufacturing to service based partnerships in an effort to help owners understand the fair market value of their businesses.
Tom has experience in mergers and acquisitions with enterprise values from $10 million to $70 million performing buyer searches ,executing financial modeling documents, conducting due diligence processes and closing large transactions. Along with his partner Don Wendel, they have a focused commitment in the Texas region, to assisting all Murphy brokers, sellers and buyers in providing honest and transparent information that helps all parties achieve their goals.
