Biography:
Dan began his entrepreneurial experience in 1989 by starting and growing a business from the ground up. He grew this cleaning business to over 100 weekly repeat commercial clients. Five years later he then sold the business to his biggest competitor – quickly appreciating the value of successfully selling a business for a profit. In 1995 Dan then switched his attention to becoming a training consultant and speaker for the premier training company, Dale Carnegie Training in NW Ohio, working with Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. Later, as sales manager for Tru-Green Chem-Lawn, he was awarded #2 highest sales for any Tru-Green franchise in the USA. After relocating to FL, he became one of only three international sales trainers for Val-Pak/Cox Media headquartered in Largo, FL.
Dan joined Murphy Business and Financial Services in April 1999 when there were only 5 agents. He has been bringing buyers and sellers together ever since. On-going training, licensing and staying current with industry trends is part of staying at the top of his field. He was one of the very first to acquire a Murphy franchise when they first became available in December of 2006. Now there are franchises nationwide.
“I realize the trust & weight of responsibility that my clients put into my hands when asking me to sell their company or purchase someone else’s business. Often this company has been their baby for many years. They have watched it grow and poured into it their own ‘blood, sweat and tears’ -- in good times and bad. Often they have spent more years there than with their own children -- which is just a reality of life. For some, this will be the largest, most important sell they will ever make in their lifetime. I take that very seriously. It gives me great satisfaction to help them navigate through the many tricks, dangers, & issues common to this ‘dance’ and get them successfully through to the closing table and receiving their money due.”
