Biography:
Warren Davis brings a corporate background to small business issues and strategies.
With over 20 years of leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies and expat assignments in Canada, Spain, and Puerto Rico, he developed the diplomatic, cultural, and negotiation skills necessary to conduct business in varying and challenging environments. In several senior operational and supply chain assignments for Pepsi Cola International in the Caribbean and Central/South America, he was the ‘internal consultant’ to the 30+ franchise bottlers in matters of manufacturing efficiency improvement, capex, facility expansions, procurement, and meeting corporate quality specifications of products.
When his career brought him stateside, he led manufacturing operations and product commercialization initiatives for competitive organizations, leading to his being recruited to the management team of a start-up beverage company for Richard Branson. Warren led the procurement of contracted services, manufacturing, supply chain, product and packaging development, and production management. Revenue grew from $0 to $1M+ in the first operating year through his team’s efforts.
The experience of leading a small business through the initial stages of implementation, funding, product development and market launch were instrumental to his becoming an independent consultant. Companies needing direction and strategy in operational effectiveness, product development, procurement, and customer responsiveness were his targets. Although the majority were small players in their fields, he also engaged with longer term contracts with Ingersoll Rand and General Motors.
Warren’s educational background includes a BSc Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University as well as an MBA International Business from Nova Southeastern University. He is bi-lingual in English/Spanish.
