Biography:
Tiger grew up in Forney, TX and graduated high school in 2007. Afterward, he attended college and earned an Associates in Science before heading to Fire Academy. He and his wife, Erika had been High School Sweethearts and eventually married in 2012. From 2012 to 2017 he was a full time Firefighter/EMT at Forney Fire Department. During the latter portion of his tenure as Firefighter him and Erika began to invest in single family real estate by purchasing rentals, wholesaling houses and doing some fix and flips. Tiger eventually left the Fire Department and went into real estate investing full time in September 2017. Later on, Tiger and Erika invested in a few commercial real estate properties along with a small multifamily apartment and began to understand the importance in a property’s financials from a valuation aspect and how small improvements can really optimize the valuation.
During the course of his real estate investing career and with an eventual exit plan in mind, Tiger began actively pursuing what it would take to make his real estate business more saleable in the future and this is when he realized his inclination towards business. He really enjoyed getting to know different businesses in different industries, how their models work, how they improve their bottom lines, what things make a business saleable, etc. Shortly after this he began actively looking for a business that would assist business owners in the sale or purchase of a business and found the business brokering industry. Seeking to align with the best in the industry, Tiger decided to join the Murphy Business team to deliver the best possible value to all clients.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, barbecuing, golfing and is also a drummer for his local church.
