Biography:
After 30 years of building, scaling, and exiting businesses, Todd knows what’s at stake on both sides of a transaction — because he’s been on both sides.
Before joining Murphy Business Sales, Todd held senior leadership roles at multiple PE-backed companies ranging from $7M to $300M in revenue, leading growth initiatives and operational turnarounds in preparation for exit. He then took that knowledge to the other side of the table, acquiring and successfully exiting a custom upholstered furniture manufacturing and distribution business.
Today, Todd brings that firsthand experience to his clients — whether they’re selling the business they’ve spent a lifetime building or searching for the right acquisition to grow their portfolio. He understands what buyers are scrutinizing, what sellers are anxious about, and how to close deals that work for everyone.
His experience spans retail, automotive parts, compressed air and gas systems, metal fabrication, mining, CPG, food production, restaurants, medical, cosmeceuticals, and residential and commercial construction — giving him a rare ability to speak the language of a wide range of business owners.
