Biography:
Mark’s previous experience includes CEO and owner of a 16M revenue food processing/manufacturing company which he sold to a top competitor in the marketplace. He also started a retail products seasonings company of which he built up and sold. Mark more recently started and operates a successful residential construction company as the general contractor. Other involvements include numerous consulting engagements for small business startups in various industries, and for larger company divestment/acquisition guidance in the food processing sector. He has also completed private industrial real estate investment endeavors as well as a few residential projects.
Mark was a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and involved in various business development groups. He spent significant time consulting for business startup and growth strategies, including many years on the buy side of transaction work for business acquisition.
Mark graduated from Seattle University with his MBA, emphasis in finance and accounting, and from the University of Oregon with a BS degree in Health Science; Chemistry and Psychology.
Mark Hockman is a husband to his wife, Kay, for 34 years and a father of three young men all in their twenties, all residing in Texas. He and his wife reside in Park City, Utah.
Supporting non-profit for families in need is important to Mark and his wife, as well as involvement in their local community outreach. Preferred activities for Mark are golfing, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, fishing, boating, and hangout with family.
