Biography:
With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mike Stamper has started, owned, and operated multiple successful companies. Together with his partners, he built one of the largest event production businesses in the U.S. through strategic mergers and acquisitions, ultimately selling to private equity in 2018.
As a consultant and broker, Mike has guided business owners through the complexities of selling their companies for the best price, leveraging both his professional expertise and his own firsthand experience. As a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFC), he understands the franchise sector, helping sellers achieve strong exits and guiding buyers toward their ideal business opportunities. He works with investors to expand their portfolios through acquisitions.
Mike’s expertise spans business brokerage, real estate, marketing, sales, franchising, retail, operations, business development, strategic planning, and exit strategies. As a trusted advisor, his focus is on preparing both business and owner for the best possible exit in the Maryland/DC market.
A lifelong Maryland resident, Mike lives in the Annapolis, MD area with his wife and a happy Golden Retriever. Outside of work, he enjoys being with his five young adult children, as well as playing tennis, fishing, sports, outdoors, and spending time out on the water or at the beach.
