All printing is done using either paper or metal plates, depending on the graphic quality required for each job. This is not a digital printing format. The press is an AB Dick 9810 with a second color T-head. The company does both single and two-color printing and subs-out all 4-color work. Sometimes they will sub-out two-color jobs, but will do the graphic design work in-house. The company has prided themselves on doing quality work, thereby building an excellent and superior reputation with long-time customers. Sales have declined in the last two years due, in part, to the economy but also due to the owner having to care for an ill father and a desire to retire. Business through the first 8 months of 2010 is improving and should exceed the 2009 year end results by approximately 18%. The owner estimates the total number of customers at approximately 2,000 with around 135 being active. Approximately 98% are commercial customers. The average sale is about $200 to $300.
