This well-established restaurant/bar was started in 1991 by the owners. Its name is taken from a local historic town in the Laurel Run area. The restaurant is located in a rural setting and caters to the working crowd who travel to and from the county daily. Happy hour brings in locals for food and drinks. They serve basic bar food with daily homemade specials. Their proprietary recipe for chicken wings is a favorite menu item, and various steaks served Fridays and Saturdays are very popular as well. The restaurant opens at 7 a.m. and offers a full menu for the workers going home from the night shift. They serve breakfast all day. The building is non-smoking and family friendly. Families know they are welcome and feel at home dining here. There are no other places in the area where families can bring children to dine. The restaurant seating capacity is approximately 85 inside and 30 outside. Although, entertainment is not currently provided the facility is well-equipped with an excellent sound system and stage for performances.
